Expected version: 0.5.0-beta

The desktop app checks the update feed on launch and every 24 hours. If the feed version is newer, it will prompt to update.

How sync works

  2. Website demo is updated (you can verify it works here)
  3. Update feed (latest.json) is updated with new version + signature
  4. Desktop app checks feed and offers update to user
